Emergency HVAC service
It’s 2am and the AC quit. Now what?
Call (866) 982-3652. The number rings my cell. Someone calls me back inside 30 minutes, day or night.
What counts as an emergency?
- Gas smell at the furnace. Stop running the system. Open a window. Call me. This one moves to the front of the line.
- Water dripping from a ceiling vent. Drain pan overflow. Cut power to the AC at the breaker. I'll be there.
- Burning smell at the air handler. Could be the blower motor or wiring. Cut power. Wait for me.
- AC out in 95+ heat with vulnerable people in the home. Babies, elders, anyone with respiratory conditions. Same-day, period.
- No heat below 50°F with vulnerable people in the home. Same priority.
What doesn’t need to be a 2am call
If your AC is just running warm and the house is otherwise comfortable, that's a next-morning call. If your tune-up is overdue, that's a next-week call. I'll triage when you reach out and tell you honestly whether to wait or to escalate.
What you can do before I get there
- Cut power at the breaker if there's a smell, drip, or burning concern.
- Open windows if there's a gas smell.
- Move people to the coolest (or warmest) room while waiting.
- Don’t restart the system repeatedly. If it's tripped a breaker twice, leave it off — you can fry a compressor by cycling power.
